Meet Wade, the Co-Owner and Operations Manager of Wade Roberts Plumbing Ltd, who brings over 30 years of experience to the industry. Since 2005, he has established his award-winning business as a leading plumbing service in the city.

As a certified Journeyman Plumber and Gasfitter, Wade is passionate about helping people and finding practical solutions, making plumbing the perfect trade for him.

In 2004, Wade married his best friend and business partner, Vangel, creating a strong foundation for both their personal and professional lives. As a proud father of three children and the owner of a lovable dog named Ruby, Wade cherishes the joys of family life.

Outside of work, Wade enjoys golfing, camping, paddle-boarding, hiking, giving back, and spending time with loved ones. His personal faith is a guiding force, shaping every aspect of his life.

Wade is deeply committed to fostering a strong community culture and training the next generation of service plumbers to ensure future sustainability. With his extensive industry experience and dedication to service, Wade is an influential figure in the plumbing industry and beyond. Meet Kyle, a dynamic financial strategist and leader with a passion for propelling businesses toward success. Since 2013, Kyle has held the prestigious title of Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional, leveraging his expertise to guide clients through complex financial landscapes.

At the helm as Chief Financial Officer for five companies, Kyle embodies a rare blend of strategic acumen and hands-on experience. His journey began with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan, setting the stage for a diverse career spanning ownership of a thriving home service business to roles in both private and public accounting.

Kyle's commitment to clarity and efficiency shines through in his adept facilitation of the EOS Level 10 agenda, ensuring clients are equipped to make informed decisions.

Meet Lorie, our Admin Lead and Project Coordinator, a seasoned customer service professional who decided to move to the island from Ontario in 2022, and joined in the fun at Wade Roberts Plumbing a year later. Lorie thrives on the camaraderie among colleagues and the gratifying connections formed with the WRP clients. She finds the stories about peculiar items stuck in garburators, some of her most entertaining calls.

Beyond the work realm, Lorie fully immerses herself in the wonders of the West Coast, indulging in activities like kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkeling, and expressing her creativity through painting. Together with her partner, Sean, and their feline companions, Ben and Bella, they create a home filled with joy and laughter. Lorie beams with pride at the mention of her son, Jake.

When it comes to entertainment, Lorie is a devoted fan of CSI and Criminal Minds. However, when the dining scene beckons, her go-to favorite spot is Brewskys in Brentwood Bay.  A true aficionado, Lorie's collection of Crocs becomes a topic of interest among the team, who eagerly await the reveal of which pair she's sporting today.

As a die-hard fan of the Beatles and their uplifting tune "Here Comes the Sun," Lorie brings a contagiously happy-go-lucky spirit to the team and each client she serves. Drawing inspiration from her parents, her childhood heroes, she embodies their philosophy to laugh lots and relish life's simple pleasures – always donning a warm and welcoming smile.

Meet Jared,  our Service Lead Trainer and highly skilled Plumbing Technician, who enjoys honing his craft and embracing the opportunity to assist and support others, making the service industry a natural fit for him.

Prior to pursuing plumbing, Jared found success as a Red Seal Executive Chef, dedicating eight years to the restaurant industry, serving up good times in the Victoria area. With his second Red Seal, as a plumber, his adaptability and eagerness to become an industry leader is evident to all who know him. He is all about equipping others with the skills they need to succeed, and he is dedicated to lead the team in becoming the most trusted and respected name in the city for excellence in service.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Jared finds solace in shopping for tools, tending to his garden, and immersing himself in the great outdoors. Playing sports is another passion that keeps him active and energized during his leisure time. Having explored destinations such as Portugal, Bali, Thailand, and Mexico, Jared's thirst for travel continues to grow, with Portugal in his sights. He envisions a future where he can venture across the globe, embracing diverse cultures and broadening his horizons.

With his dedication to plumbing, commitment to serving others, and his love for outdoor activities, Jared is an individual poised to make a positive impact in his chosen field. Her favorite aspect of the job is finding joy in helping people solve their plumbing issues with a warm and friendly smile.

Outside the workplace, Delaney enjoys life's simple pleasures. Whether spending quality time with her husband, Torston, watching "How to Train Your Dragon," or immersing herself in reading, board games, crafting, and cherishing moments with friends, Delaney embraces the richness of these experiences.

Delaney's wanderlust has led her to explore Mexico, Disney World, and Hawaii, and she has an ambitious goal to visit every Disney park worldwide.  Guided by Yoda's wisdom, her favorite movie quote is “do or do not, there is no try.”

Meet Matt, a Red Seal Plumber and Class B Gasfitter, who finds immense fulfillment in the opportunities for continuous learning and personal growth within the industry. What Matt truly cherishes about his profession is the ability to make a positive impact on people's lives, as he finds great joy in helping others. When he's not  plumbing, Matt enjoys watching movies and creating cherished memories with his kids. Travel is another avenue where Matt seeks inspiration and adventure. Having explored the enchanting landscapes of Ireland and the beaches in Italy,  Hawaii, is next on his list!

Since 2019, Morgan has been actively involved in the plumbing industry, starting with shadowing a plumber during his high school years. With a natural inclination towards mechanics and a love for problem-solving, he discovered his true passion in plumbing and quickly realized his affinity for connecting with people. As a result, he decided to focus his efforts on the service side of plumbing, where he could provide direct assistance and build meaningful relationships with clients. His conscientiousness and unwavering dedication ensure that the job is always done right.

Raised on the prairies in a bustling household of nine, Morgan developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for the value of teamwork. Growing up, his childhood hero was none other than the legendary Bob Ross, whose artistic talents and soothing demeanor inspired him.

Outside of his plumbing endeavours, Morgan finds joy in sports, music, and running. With his passion for plumbing, problem-solving prowess, and genuine connection with people, Morgan is poised to make a lasting impact in the industry.

Prior to plumbing, Scott worked in the Coast Guard, as a Social worker and a yoga instructor, and he thrives on learning new things! Interacting with a variety of people, and tackling the diverse challenges that come with plumbing, make this industry a great fit for him.

Scott takes pride in having worked in multiple countries and across Canada, enriching his professional and personal experiences.

Scott’s love for adventure and the outdoors is evident in his free time activities. He enjoys camping, playing guitar, going to the gym, jogging, golfing, reading, and practicing kickboxing. His favorite travel destinations have been the Philippines, Australia, and Panama, reflecting his enthusiasm for exploring new places.

A music aficionado, Scott has a growing collection of instruments and finds joy in expanding his musical repertoire.

Mark Tolmay

Mark Tolmay is a Red Seal Plumber with extensive experience gained from his years working in South Africa. Now newly relocated to Victoria, BC, Mark is eager to start this exciting chapter with Wade Roberts Plumbing, a company whose values mirror his own commitment to hard work and exceptional client care. His favorite aspect of the job is solving problems and seeing the satisfaction of his clients when everything is resolved. One of his most memorable moments in the field was discovering a 300-year-old skeleton during a plumbing job—an experience that he will never forget!

Outside of work, Mark is an adventurer at heart, enjoying off-road trail riding and hiking in his free time. His travels have taken him to some incredible places, with Monaco, Sanremo, Italy, and Cape Town, South Africa, standing out as personal highlights. Mark is also proud of having built his own dream home, a challenging yet rewarding experience that pushed his skills to the next level. He counts Rich Dad Poor Dad as his favorite book for its inspiring lessons.

With a passion for exploring the world, Mark's bucket list dream is to drive from the northernmost drivable point in Alaska all the way to Cape Horn in South America. He loves collecting meaningful experiences and looks forward to creating new memories in Canada.

Martin joined Wade Roberts Plumbing, drawn by the company’s stellar reputation and strong team dynamic. With a career in customer service that began back in 1999 aboard cruise ships, Martin brings decades of experience and a client-first approach to his role as a service plumber. He finds the greatest satisfaction in solving clients’ problems completely and ensuring their peace of mind.

A passionate nature lover, Martin enjoys beekeeping, fishing, camping, and spending quality time with his family. Proud of his roots and inspired by his father—whom he considers his superhero—Martin embodies resourcefulness, kindness, and a can-do attitude. He also has a talent for collecting vintage tools and often shops at KMS to add to his collection.

Having traveled to incredible destinations such as Greece, Namibia, and Botswana, Martin embraces the adventure of life - which let him to immigrate to Canada from South Africa this year with his family.  Martin is excited to embrace island life and explore new adventures and dreams of one day building his own log home. His favorite book, Faith Like Potatoes by Angus Buchan, reflects his strong faith and deep connection to nature.

Currently in his fourth year as a plumbing apprentice, Sheldon's journey in the trades began with a natural inclination towards mechanics and a passion for troubleshooting, ensuring that every job is executed with care, leaving clients satisfied and their plumbing systems running smoothly.

Originally from Alert Bay, Sheldon finds solace in nature, often embarking on hikes or scenic drives along the breathtaking West Coast. With his faithful companion, Kenai, by his side, Sheldon loves to explore hidden gems like Mystic Beach, Port Hardy, and Kingcome Inlet, soaking in the beauty of the rugged landscape.

Driven by a deep sense of responsibility and love for his family, Sheldon is passionate about providing for their needs and securing a bright future. As a former rugby team captain, Sheldon also dreams of one day attending a World Cup Rugby match.

Sheldon's commitment to excellence, paired with his love for adventure and genuine care for people, make him a standout in the world of plumbing. With each service call, Sheldon not only fixes pipes but also leaves a lasting impression, earning the trust and gratitude of those he serves.

Jeremy Marcoux

Meet Jeremy, a passionate Level 2 plumbing technician with a fresh perspective and a commitment to the company's mission to exceed expectation at every turn.

After years working with Sobeys, Jeremy took the leap to change careers and get his trade as a Plumber, completing his Foundations training in 2022.  Finding great fulfillment in helping others, Jeremy considers plumbing to be a rewarding career as he enjoys meeting new people every day and bringing solutions.

Outside of work, Jeremy leads a diverse and enriching life hiking, reading and spending quality time watching movies or eating sushi at  Shiki Sushi, with his fiancée. Jeremy loves to travel, and he enjoyed an amazing trip to Brazil in 2023 and is already planning  more adventures in Italy soon!  In his free time, Jeremy is busy learning all he can about investing and trading, showcasing a keen interest in financial literacy.

Meet Brock, a Level 1 plumbing technician with a passion to serve every client and technician on our team with a spirit of excellence and a good natured smile.  With a foundation in customer service since 2016, Brock embarked on his plumbing journey by completing Foundations Plumbing training in 2022 and is excited about growing in his skill in the industry. Brock finds immense satisfaction in the diversity of tasks and people he encounters daily on the job. Proud of his strong work ethic and knack for problem-solving, Brock carries these qualities into every aspect of his professional life.

Outside of work, he is an avid basketball player, & sports enthusiast, and he enjoys spending quality time with friends. His travel adventures have taken him to vibrant destinations like Miami and Mexico, igniting a love for exploration.  His bucket list trip is a grand journey— and he looks forward to traveling around Europe with friends and family.

Meet Ruby Love, the beloved member of the Roberts family and the cherished office mascot at Wade Roberts Plumbing. With her endearing presence, Ruby is always there to provide unwavering moral support and offer comforting snuggles whenever needed. She happily shares snacks and beef jerky with her numerous adoring fans.

Ruby, a Cavapoo, was born on Valentine's Day, which perfectly matches her loving and gentle nature. She steals the spotlight as the star of the WRP Christmas Card every year, captivating the hearts of both our team and clients alike.

Long walks on the beach and engaging games of catch bring her immense joy, while her discerning taste favours only the finest meat treats.

As an integral and adored member of our team, Ruby Love holds a special place in our hearts. Her presence brings warmth and cheer to the office, making her a beloved and cherished addition to our Wade Roberts Plumbing family.
